The Girl Made of Midnight

She stitched her heart from threads of night,
And wore the dark like silver light.
The world looked in but couldn't see,
The storms she kept beneath the sea.
She laughed in rooms that felt too cold,
Like shattered glass pretending gold.
And every scar she tried to hide,
Became a star she wore with pride.
For some are born to chase the sun,
But she and darkness moved as one.
A soul too deep, too wild, too far
Not made to fit, but made to star.
